Background
I hold a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the German Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and degrees in both business administration and computer science. I have been a serial entrepreneur since age 17 and a business advisor since 2008.
Over the years, I have advised 600+ startups, SMBs, and corporations internationally on business models, revenue models, pricing, technology selection, financial planning, financing, pitches, pivots, growth, scaling, and M&A preparation. I serve as a board member and business angel for multiple technology companies.
Business Model DNA (BMDNA)
I created the BMDNA framework — a metrics-based approach that connects lean analytics with financial planning, helping founders understand key metrics, unit economics, and growth drivers. It is the recurring thread throughout many episodes of this newsletter.

I started Digital Business Nuggets in August 2023 as a LinkedIn newsletter to share hard-earned insights from years of advising startups and building businesses. Each episode is a deep dive into a specific topic — from AI strategy and SaaS disruption to pitch deck mistakes and co-founder equity splits.
The newsletter has grown to 1,000+ subscribers and 30 episodes, covering the topics that matter most to founders building digital and tech-based businesses.
